Hi Ron, I have small doubt in the below sentence. In ancient Thailand, much of the local artisans’ creative energy was expended on the creation of Buddha images and on construction and decoration of the temples in which they were enshrined How can "they" refer to "Buddha images"?...

Is A wrong here only because of the use of the article "an" or because of the misplaced "For the global manager" .Doesn't it changes the meaning to an invalid comparison of understanding.... to Grasping.... business manager giving the meaning that only grasping is for the busine...

I know the rules of parallelism - nouns can be parallel to another noun as well as complex gerund but nouns cannot be parallel with simple gerund. Only simple gerund can be parallel with simple gerund. ^^ i have no idea what "simple gerund" and "complex gerund" mean. in any case...

• the correct answer is not wrong. • why would this be a problem, anyway? with pronouns, the ONLY things you need to think about are... ...is the intended referent a NOUN? ...does it MATCH the pronoun? Actually, this one came through our filters a couple of weeks ago and we changed answer C (and answer A and B... I changed most of them, actually!). I had marked the option B thinking that the if the events regarding Prince Sviatov's life are not accurate then year 1165 would be wrong to consider.
