I just cannot understand B. The passage mentioned that Marshall tended to selecte the sympathetic litigants. But B says that he didn't like the people who were impressive to public??

I know that other answers are wrong but I am confused with E. I think it's maybe too strong…It suggests a conditional correlation that if they painted fewer portraits then they could had greater opportunity to move beyond literal depiction of object.

I know the other answers are wrong but I cannot figure out B. The stimulus says "would be difficult to domesticate". I think it means they were hard to domesticate in the past and whether it is easier to domesticate today is irrelevant.
