Re: Q25 - Large inequalities in wealth

I was able to come up with the conditional relationship: If ~ equal [inequalities] distribution of wealth ---> ~ true democracy [ability for true democracy to work not present] If true democracy ---> Wealth equally distributed by using the first sentence as a conditional relationship. Can the ...

Re: Q9 - There is relatively little

This goes to Matt Sherman. In my opinion Answer Choice (C) undermines the conclusion of the Stimulus to the same degree as Answer Choice (D), but does so in a more direct manner. Therefore, Answer Choice (C) should be correct. Here is my reasoning: The conclusion of the argument is that the only wa...

Re: Q21 - The proper way to plan

I answered (D) on this question, and would appreciate any further help on why my reasoning is incorrect. Here it is: The author lays down the rules for a proper science project plan, then states that the US space station project is not following this ideal. They then present evidence, that does NOT ...

Re: Q11 - The labeling of otherwise high-calorie ...

I actually incorrectly answered this question twice. My first go I answered (E), which I believe is incorrect because the basis of the argument is about consumers being harmed by the labeling of products as "sugar free", and that prohibiting these labels should be implemented. So prohibiti...

Re: Q9

Question Type: Purpose of Information Answer expected in lines/paragraph: There's a major formula for "serves to / in order to / primarily to" question stems. Most of the time, the correct answer reinforces a bigger, broader claim that comes right before the mentioned detail. Here, the en...

Re: Q5 - Oscar: I have been accused

Could you look at Oscar's statement as a piece of logical reasoning? Logically set up as: If permission given ------> ~ plagiarism (the right to quote) In this case, then (A) would be incorrect, because it is a negation of Oscars reasoning, without reversal (the correct form of a contrapositive)....

Q14

I am really confused on the 4th rule of this game: Jerry drives on Wednesday or Saturday or both, and he may also drive on other days. The way I interpret this is J is not restricted to any days? How am I misinterpreting or misreading this rule, because it messed me up for the rest of the game and I...

Re: Q14

In response to my post above... The rule is saying that Jerry drives on Wednesday OR Saturday OR both, and Jerry can drive on other days. But this does not relinquish his responsibility to drive on either Wednesday or Saturday. In any game scenario, Jerry will show up on Wednesday OR Saturday (possi...

Re: Q8 - Reasonable people adapt themselves to

I totally see why B is correct because it is the contrapositive of the conditional statement in the conclusion: IF progress ---- > unreasonable people IF ~ unreasonable people (reasonable people) -------- > ~ progress But couldn't you say that not having progress does not depend on reasonable ...
