Q4

Wow, what a hard passage.
Where can I find A? I've read the last paragraph a few times and I still don't know where I'm supposed to infer the answer from.

Re: PT 31, S3, Q24; Appliance dealer...

There is a more subtle conclusion at play here, and looking at the structure of the argument helps us to recognize this. The moment we see "Some people" or "Some experts" or "Some critics," we can anticipate the author saying, "BUT/HOWEVER those people are stupid ...

Q10 - Audiences find a speaker more

I have a bone to pick with this question. After we quickly eliminate D and E we are left with A, B and C. To figure out the correct answer among the 3 remaining possibilities and have to align probabilities with the stimulus. "Candidates for national political office who wish to be successful i...

What analogy is answer B speaking of? I was originally going to pick B but this didn't seem to fit in.

Q19

Where can I find the reasoning as to why B is right instead of A? They both look like they could be right to me.

It seems to boil down to Authoritative vs. Highly influential, both of which I can't find in the passage.

Re: Q6

This is a tough one. I put C as well however I see where I went wrong. The last little bit of C "inspired the abstract works characteristic of modern art", is no where in the last paragraph where it mentions knowledge and light. E is the last sentence of the final paragraph. How you're sup...

Re: Q23 - A group of scientists studying calcium

No problem. Let's take a look. Rats in experiment 1 no adrenal gland + parathyroid gland -------------------- calcium decreases sharply Rats in experiment 2 no adrenal gland + no parathyroid gland -------------------- calcium decreases less sharply This means that the parathyroid gland is decreasin...
