Q11

The answer key is D which I find hard to see as an attractive answer. While Line 21-24 does state that ancient graves are generally unsuccessful in having a standing, sentence after also recognizes that, given standing, common law may provide a basis.. so answer D seems contrary. Clarifications woul...

Re: Q12 - People who say that Dooney County

I am unsure about the explanation given for AC (A). The stimulus does not seem to tell us at all whether terraces are built to prevent erosion by water specifically, so I don't understand how A is ruled out. It only says that farmers whose land is flat do not build terraces to prevent erosion. So I ...

Re: Q12 - Vague laws set vague limits

Many thanks for all the explanations so far. My issue is in correctly translating the conditionals formally. Let me explain. The reason why I eliminated (A) (though I should've kept it as a contender) is because of the following error it seems to commit. The gap I see in the stimulus: "If it is...

Re: Q6

Hello. I will try to give my 2 cents. After some thought, I agree with what is said above. The reason why (D) appears less attractive (took me a while to think this) is that (D) simply does not describe the role of the author's reference to "corpus of traditional lore" as well as (A). Yes,...

Re: Q9 - There are far fewer independent

How is this an assumption that you need to make? We only know ~GV, but this doesn't tell you anything about GV as is suggested by (A). If (A) is an assumption, it seems like you run into the problem of mistaken negation by saying that because you don't have GV, you will not have Better Hey there! I...

Re: Q22 - To win democratic elections

The problem here is if you have a candidate who isn't in a political party. That candidate will have trouble getting a wealthy patron, and might have to compromise his or her views in order to win support. That's very helpful tommywallach. My issue with (B) is... it requires that I bring in outside...

Re: Q25 - Helena: Extroversion, or sociability,

Helena's conclusion is that Extroversion is not biologically determined. Its the first line as she supports the conclusion with her examples. Jay says, IMMEDIATELY: Your conclusion does not follow, as in, ITS NOT CORRECT! So what's not correct? Biological determination of being an extrover/introver...
