Hey, there! In the future, I'd email a HW question to your instructor. He/she is usually going to get back to you sooner than the forum will (we sometimes have a lag time of several days before we see recent posts).
Search and Destroy assignments are asking us to do more practice on a given question type (or types). But instead of telling you which problems to do, it adds the layer of "you have to search for them".
We've found that students take way too long to get good at quickly ID-ing question type by reading LR question stems. So Search & Destroy forces students to look at question stems in order to figure out whether a given question is of the type they are supposed to be practicing.
In the after class 1, before class 2 HW, you see this entry:
10 New Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests (62-71): PT 70, S1 &S4 (pp. 312–319; 336– 343)
Search & Destroy ID the Conclusion and Determine the Function questions (25 min)
Find all the ID the Conclusion and Determine the Function questions in these sections and solve them.
So you know the book (OG2, the purple one) and you know the sections (pgs 312-319 and 336-343). Your job is to go find the ID Conclusion and Role/Function questions and attempt them.
After you've done so, you can look at the 3rd page of the after class 1 / before class 2 HW and you'll see the "correct answers" to which problems you should have done.
On the page that has LR Set 1a, you see in the bottom right
LSAT OG2
PT70, S1 & S4 (pp. 312–319, 336–343)
Search & Destroy the ID the Conclusion and Determine the Function questions in the above. Then, check below.
316 17 Mastered / Re-do
316 18 Mastered / Re-do
340 16 Mastered / Re-do
343 24 Mastered / Re-do
Does that make sense?
