Can someone explain No.8 ? After drawing my diagram, I believe the rules said that if Y is in than L O are out (rule no.3). The diagram that was posted stated otherwise. Can someone explain this ? Thanks!

According to the rule, if Y is NOT in, both L and O CANNOT be in, but one of them has to be. Tricky rule.

So that means that since both ARE in here, in question 8, Y has to be in. If Y were out, both L and O could not be in (even though one of them would have to be).
