Q5

The 4th paragraph was about situations in which regulation is needed but can't be provided because the internet is so vast and unwieldy!

A: this isn't calling into *question* the argument in the 2nd para.
B: this isn't *questioning* the 1st para.
C: No, the 4th para has nothing to do with trademarks.
D: the 3rd para was only about trademarks. This is not correct.
E: Yes; the general claim in the 1st para is how the internet presents difficulties for traditional legislation and law enforcement.

What does the LSAT mean by Choice "D"?

For something to continue an argument, does it have to be specifically on the topic in the paragraph mentioned or can it also be in general? An area I am unclear about is that P4 does extend P3's argument in that P3 started the argument on the challenges posed by the internet by looking at it through a trade mark point of view. Then P4 gives another reason for the challenge ( privacy concerns) so it is also an extension of the argument in P3 . Does the LSAT define continues the argument more so along the lines of it has to continue the specific substantive content in the preceding paragraph (i.e. Paragraph 4 must be on trade marks too and not another reason why the internet poses challenges?)
