Ok so we have a global inference question here regarding what the author would most likely agree with.
No keywords in this stimulus, so we just have to work wrong to right.
my prephase: author does not accept the front to back theory. I know his views are stated in the 2nd paragraph and last paragraph about what he thinks. I know the 3rd paragraph is about mirrors and what the author thinks of them. So, with this framework I cannot come up with anything specific but I have a general gist/idea of what the author may agree with in broad terms at least.
A- better optical equipment!? out of scope. author never advocates this.
B- bit broad. We know the author is against front to back, but not sure what the author thinks about other explanations of what mirrors do. I am going to look at the other choices and come back.
C- ok this is stated in the last paragraph. Lines 43-47. i am picking this and moving on
D- depends on their training in the sciences?! no. author never states this or alludes to this. eliminate
E- not sure about this. Don't recall the author specifically mentioning this or alluding to this in anyway. I remember the author says that there is no relationship between perceptions and mental constructs in mirrors. so I am a little hesitant with this answer choice. The author doesn't talk about objects interfering with accurate understanding of how perceptions function. So with that I am going to eliminate this.
