If a rock group is at 10, then rule 3 tells us that no folk group can be at 10.

So we know that the two 10 spots will be filled by P, Q, or T.

But P can only perform at 6 or 12, so the two 10 spots will have to be filled by Q and T.

Do we know which is north, which is south?
No, but if we look at the answers, we're only trying to analyze where folk/rock are going to be, not where specific letters are.

We know that P will be 6 or 12, so we'll have one of these two worlds:

If P is 6,
N: rock | folk | rock
S: .........| folk | rock | folk

If P is 12,
N: folk | folk | rock
S: .........| folk | rock | rock

(A) doesn't have to be true, could go either way
(B) YES! This happens in both scenarios
(C) doesn't have to be true, could go either way
(D) definitely not gonna happen
(E) doesn't have to be true, could go either way
