PT 60 P1 Q2 New Urbanism detrimental result

by pinkdatura Sun Sep 26, 2010 10:32 pm

C is direct quote from line 35, however I am wondering why in line 35, the passage mentions "pedestrians rarely act in this manner towards each other"

E is it wrong because it belong to family issue but this paragraph talks about community member?

I think in line 35 it mentions that "pedestrians rarely act this way towards each other" to explain how things are better in the urban environment that keeps people out of these antisocial/driver oriented behaviors.

I think (E) is wrong because it doesn't seem to have much support in the passage. Sure, we could imagine that (E) would be one detrimental result, but do we see it in the portion of the text where the author is discussing the detrimental result of using an auto every day?

2 E is incorrect because in Line 32, it says social interaction in the public realm decreases, not the private realm that 2 E refers to.
