I don't understand why answer choice C can't be the right answer?

Because, Jasmine gets off the van before Fundy and that leads Greg to getting off the van before Simcoe. So technically the last rule is still satisfied.

I understand why E is the right answer but I cannot get why C is wrong.

Rule #3 said that J needed to be on board longer than V.

In (C), though, J gets off at the first stone (L) and V stays on until the second stop (M)!

Make sense?
