I felt like answers A, C, & D all dealt specifically with Passage 1.

Can someone walk me through B & E?
I didn't really like B b/c I felt like Passage A didn't really deal with Scientific Research.
I chose E, but I didn't really like how it said "someone" else. I would have liked it better if it said "something"

The question doesn't ask for the primary concern of each of these passages, merely a question both passages are concerned with addressing. For us, that means a lower standard for the correct answer, something simply addressed by both passages.

Answer choice (B) is discussed in lines 9-14 in passage A and 25-29 in passage B.

Incorrect Answers
(A) is definitely not discussed in passage B.
(C) is definitely not discussed in passage B.
(D) is definitely not discussed in passage B.
(E) is definitely discussed in passage B, but not in passage A. The tricky thing is that one could easily see the author of passage A agreeing with this point, which makes it tempting to think it's there.
