Q15

by sh854 Sat Oct 31, 2015 12:22 pm

Hi all,

I am wondering why for this question which one of the following CANNOT be ranked fifth why is the answer R? I have R as going fifth in the scenario below when S and H are night shift.

S H F G R T

Why can R not go in fifth? Also can you show me an example of when T CAN go fifth?

Thank you,

Hey, Shiv.

Did you check your scenario against the rules? (Check the actual written version of the rules, not whatever's written on your page)

If you end up convincing yourself of something the game disagrees with, go back to the actual rules and re-read them to see if you misread or mis-diagrammed something.

S H F G R T

Rule 1: F is more productive than G. Check.
Rule 2: R is more productive than S. Crap.

With this Tree,
F - G - T
......../
.....R - S - H

only T or H could be last. So if you want T to be 5th, make H last.

__ __ __ __ T H

We still have F - G and R - S

There are lots of ways to place them in the first four spots. One possible way is
F G R S T H

You mentioned the day shift / night shift, but it doesn't make any difference to this question who the night shift is since there aren't any rules that tell us where to put the night shift.

Hope this helps
