Q13

Hello, wasn’t sure how to approach this one. It doesn’t appear that any of my frames yield an obvious answer. Please explain, thank you.

Never mind, I think I got it. I realize that the frame to use would be as follows:

Zone 1: P, Q, and either the SU block or both M&K
Zone 2: T
Zone 3: SU block or both M&K

Once I reviewed the answer choices, it appeared that E was the only one that showed what could be true.

if there are more in group 1 than in group 3, it has to be
__ __ __ __ | __ | __ __

From there I would think that PQ and SU can't go in group 2.

So the T/U choice in group 2 will have to be T.
__ __ __ __ | T | __ __

That means it's P, and thus PQ in group 1.
P Q __ __ | T | __ __

That leaves SU to go in either group 1 or group 3, and KM will go wherever they aren't.

P Q __ __ | T | __ __
...........( SU , KM )

(A) only T in 2
(B) only T in 2
(C) P is in 1
(D) T is in 2
(E) Sure, that'll work.
