Q10 - Technological progress makes

by stacksdoe Fri Jul 10, 2015 12:14 am

The correct answer is C. I was stuck between (C) and (D), and in fact I got this question wrong. Looking back, the only justification for the correct answer is that unlike (D), which is narrow in focus, marked by "workers who are directly affected by it" , (C) generalizes, which is comparable to the stimulus.
What do other people think?

Nope, the correct answer is (D). For the reason you stated!

(C) is way too broad, much broader than what we are given. Maybe the workers aren't at all opposed to technological progress, even if it makes their jobs less satisfying!

(A) is out of scope.

(B) is too extreme.

(E) is never stated...maybe they will keep working even if their "particular skills" are "less crucial" to production. They'll just be relegated to other tasks.
