Q: Page 192 5th Edition LSAT Logic Games

by ArthurW338 Thu Feb 10, 2022 3:10 pm

Dear fellow test takers & staff,
I am looking at the Drill It : 3D ordering Setups question 4. (page 191 & solutions on page 192).
My question is : why is there a 60 minute program necessarily in the last (6th position)?
Briefly summarizing question 4:
4.
Six programs : M, N, O , P , R & S
No two programs are broadcast simultaneously & no other programs are broadcast.
Each program is 30 mins or 60 mins.
R1: N is 60 mins
R2: S immediately precedes O
R3: Each 30 min program is immediately followed by a 60 min program
R4: P is broadcast at some time before O
R5: A 30 minute program is broadcast fourth

Again based on the above why must there be a 60 minute program in the last slot?
It does not say that a 30 minute program must necessarily be followed a 60 minute program. If that were true then it would make sense but maybe I am missing an inference?

Sincerely,
Arthur

Hi there, as I look at the 5th edition page you mention I see that there is a rule that says "each 30-minute program is immediately followed by a 60-minute program," and that's why the final slot has to have a 60-minute program in it.
