Need General Identification of LG Tips

by JonT Fri May 06, 2011 1:24 pm

Hey there,

I was wondering if there is any way to be able to identify the type of logic game faster - once I ID which game I'm solving, the process is a lot easier, but that's the tough part.

In the homework, everything is nice and easy since it's all categorized - for instance, this week, we're only drilling Open Assignment Q's ... but when I'm doing a practice exam and there's all sorts of logic games, it throws me off. I have to spend additional time figuring out which LG it is and remember which diagram to use.

I know that my goal is to be flexible in adapting to "curveballs" and such, but it's really tough for some reason. Learning some key trigger phrases or words would help. It seems the ones mentioned in the book are similar-ish, which makes it difficult. Binary games are fairly easy to spot, but everything else is kind of muddled.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! :)
