For this Geekette game, where does the no "xX" block rule come from?

I cannot infer this from any of the rules listed. Maybe I am just going crazy. Thanks!

No, I agree, I see it like you do.

It seems like they were thinking that you always had to have AT LEAST an opening act or a special guest, but I don't see anywhere it says that.

And, off the top of my head, it looks like this scenario is doable (in which we DO have X/x)
