Difference b/w sufficient & necessary assumption questions?

by layamaheshwari Sat May 07, 2016 12:55 pm

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what's the difference between a question asking for an argument's necessary assumption and one asking for an argument's sufficient assumption. How does this affect the approach you take to solving the question? It'd be really helpful to know what different strategies you have for each one!

Thanks in advance.

Our books go into quite a bit of detail on this subject. :)

Thanks, Tommy. I appreciate that, but I was wondering if someone here had any insights they had reached apart from the Manhattan books. Just to see what fellow preppers picked up from practice tests!
