How should the last constraint be diagrammed? I know this is a 3D numbered ordering game...

It could be written as:
_ K _
R _ N

probably with a box around it all. From that, you can infer several restrictions on the placement of R, N and K.

We can infer that the song played on the keyboard must be either S or Q, and it's worth considering what happens in each situation.

Setting up the Diagram:

PT 41 S 2 G 2. Children's Festival

by ryan.oconnor110 Thu Apr 29, 2010 9:46 pm

I'm having difficulty diagramming this problem, and am sure I'm missing key inferences. Could someone show me the proper diagram?

Thanks,
Ryan

Here ya go! This is what I worked with. Note that I went ahead and wrote the contrapositives to the side. Not many deductions to make here -- just the ones based on the last clue.

Are you able to work it now?

Please tell me why #9 (PT 41, S2, G2) is e :?:

I eliminated a,b,d but couldn't find a reason to eliminate c or e even after referring to the diagram you have provided :?

Thanks.
