Could someone show a good diagram for this game? I don't think there are many inferences because there are many "If" questions.

There are many inferences to be had, but they relate mostly to the numerical distributions. We know that the gerbils and hamsters will be in cages W and X. We also know that the snakes and lizards will be in cages Y and Z. Since each cage has exactly 2, 4, or 6 pets, we can limit the numerical distributions pretty quickly.

The gerbils and hamsters will have 4 pets in one cage and 2 pets in another. Since we cannot place only hamsters or only gerbils into a cage, we'll end up with 2 gerbils and 2 hamsters in one cage and 1 gerbil and 1 hamster in the other.

The snakes and lizards are slightly more flexible, but we'll have one cage with at least 2 snakes and 2 lizards, another cage with at least 1 snake and 1 lizard, with two more snakes to place in either cage.

How do you know the G, H will be 2(GH), and 4 (GGHH)? Could the gerbils and hamsters be 3 (GGH), and 3 (HHG)?

Doesn't each cage need to be assigned exactly 2, 4, or 6 animals? Your hypothetical would put 3 animals in each cage, right?

Keep up the good work! That sort of thinking (and questioning) will really help as you develop instincts as to how the LSAT tries to throw you off course!

Can someone say some words about how this game relates to the more recent games? how relevant is it?

I came up with this diagram. I leaves only g,h,sss,l instead of all 14.
H G
(2,4) x:H G
(4,2) w:H G
-------------------
S S S L
(2,4,6) y: S L
(6,4,2) z: S L
