Which game in the section do you need the setup for? We'd be happy to post a setup!

I'd classify this as a Numbered Ordering game with non 1:1 correspondence. The reason for that is that in Open Assignment games there isn't the aspect of putting characters into order. In this game, we're definitely being asked to put the characters into order, but we're not sure how many are "assigned" to each day.

Here's the setup, let me know if you still need help with it!

I'm also having trouble with this game and was glad to see a setup posted - but I can't download it. When I click on it, it says that this file no longer exists. Is anyone else having this problem??

Appreciate the diagram, however can I get an explanation on how to use this to answer questions? I just don't see no concrete info, in game to base anything off. Thanks

Well... you have to use either Frame 1, Frame 2, or both as you answer the questions. But you need to use the frames in such a way that you do not violate the conditions notated off to the side.

As a quick example take question 11. If the workshop on production is the only workshop in session on Friday, then we must be using Frame 1 and it would be filled out

_ _ R R _
L L _ P P
M T W T F

The workshop on Staging is still undetermined. That is why answer choices (C), (D), and (E) all could be true. Answer choice (B) must be true. The workshops on Lighting must be Monday and Tuesday and so answer choice (A) must be false.

I use the frames as guides and some questions refer me to Frame 1, and some questions refer me to Frame 2, and for other questions I might need to use both frames simultaneously.

Does that answer your question?

Maybe I'm burned out but can someone please explain why #12 is not B? I got all of them right except this one in 4:42 and I'm looking at it and cant see it.

Nevermind, I see it now, I totally didn't read the question right.

In frame 2 of the diagram, couldn't Staging also go on Tuesday/Wednesday ?

No it cannot because Monday must have a variable occur.

The 2nd frame posted is what happens when the LL block is on Tuesday-Wednesday, which will force the PP and RR blocks on Thursday-Friday. So now you only have SS left to place. Since the S must go on Monday, the other S is on Tuesday.

What does "The two days on which a given workshop is in session are consecutive" mean?

Why in diagram is s separated from s Monday and placed on Tuesday. Isn't this a violation of splitting consecutives?

THANKS

For Question 8 (which could be true?), how do we know B (only one on Friday) is wrong? I don't see this as an option in the frames but I could be missing something?

B isn't wrong--it's the only one that *can* be true. It's possible in Frame 1. For instance, if SS and LL are both in Mon/Tue, then we can start one of PP and RR on Wednesday and the other on Thursday, leaving just one workshop running on Friday, like this:

M: S L
T: S L
W: P
Th: P R
F: R
