Assumption?

Hi,
I understand the cues within the question stem that indicate a necessary vs sufficient assumption question, but I have also encountered questions that do not use these indicators at all. For instance, on PT 16 sec 3 #14, the question stem says "the argument assumes that..." Are these questions asking for the sufficient or necessary assumption? Or is it just any kind of assumption?
