Wrote GMAT: 770 M:51, Verbal 44

Wrote my GMAT

Total 770 (99%), Math: 51 (99%) Verbal 44 (97%)

I want to thank the MGMAT staff for their excellent work.

Below is my experience:

I started my preparation months ago. However, my preparation had been interrupted by many things:
my daughter was born, my wife got sick.. etc.

I first studied the evaluation questions of OG11 to get a feeling of GMAT

Then, I did GMATPrep Test 1 to see my start level:

GMATPrep 1: 710, Math 50, verbal 36

I then spent almost 2 months on OG11, OG11 verbal and OG11 math

Re-did the GMATPrep 1 again:

GMATPrep 1: 770, math 51, verbal 44

After that, I took the MGMAT sets:

MGMAT free: 730, Math 49 Verbal 37

I was kind of shocked by the difficulty level of Math problems in this set. I finished the math section only 1 minute ahead of time.
With a Ph.D. in sciences under my belt, I was very confident with my mathmatical skills. However, MGMAT math is difficult, but very
very good, as I found later on that realy GMAT math is not easy.

I found MGMAT math sets, and read them front to back.

2 days later, I took another set:

MGMAT set 1: 780, Math 51, Verbal 45

1 week before my exam: I took
GMATPrep set 2: 770 Math: 51, Verbal 44

It seems to me that both GMATPrep and MGMAT are predictive.

Feel OK with my overall performance at GMAT, though I am still a little concerned about my AWA score. Anyway, I hope I do not have to re-take GMAT
because of AWA.

Finally, thank all who contributed to the discussions in this forum. I really learned a lot here.

By the way, Manhattan Test Simulation Booklet and Marker are also identifical to what were given to me during the exam.
