It's unusual to score 50+ points higher on the real test (compared to practice tests). It does happen every now and then, but it's unusual. The most likely outcome will be in the range of scores you've already been getting (low to mid 600s, in your case).
When you take the test, you have to wait 31 days to take it again. So if you do decide to roll the dice, factor that in - you need to make sure you have enough time to take it again.
Most schools don't care if you take the test up to 3 times. You haven't taken the real thing before? If not, then you do have more flexibility here.
So, whether you should roll the dice? Up to you. :) If you're the kind of person who's willing to try and shrug your shoulders and say, "Oh well!" if it doesn't work out, then sure, try it. If you think you'll dwell on a "bad" test experience, or lose confidence or become demoralized, then maybe wait. But if you really can consider it just a "practice" run (and fully expect to have to take it again), then the only cost / downside is the $250 and the 4 hours out of your life. :)
