what should I do or not do one week before exam?

Hello,
can someone please tell me what I should or should not do the last week before my exam? For example, is it recommended to complete a practice exam 2 days before the actual GMAT exam? Should I take it easy the week before and just look over notes?

Any suggestions for the home stretch week before the exam would be very helpful! Just as in preparing for the marathon, i don't want o burn out on race day.

thanks,

I think your marathon analogy is very apt.

I would not recommend taking a practice test the week before the exam. Instead, I would do blocks of 10 math questions + 10 verbal questions - mini-gmat's, if you will, maybe twice per day, plus review notes, etc.

Other than that, do what you can to put yourself in a relaxed but alert state of mind. Get sleep the night before (don't stay up doing problems), eat well, maybe exercise - whatever it is that makes your body/mind feel good. The morning of an exam, I usually just do a crossword puzzle, or maybe a couple of problems - tops. Save your energy.
