What should be my next action?

by tanaychowdhury Tue Jun 30, 2009 8:05 pm

Hi Erin,
I am Software professional with 4 years of experience.English was my second language in school days. When prepared for GMAT I have read all most all the study materials available including Nova,1000 Series etc. When I used to take small tests in SC and CR section I used to score near to 75% and when I took Manhattan 6 GMAT tests my highest score was 680 with an average of 640.Today I took the GMAT and I scored only 600(Quant 49,88% and Verbal 24,33%).I am really puzzled after taking the exam,as I myself was feeling verbal test was not going good.I was not being able to find errors in SC.Now I don't have anymore material left to sharpen my verbal skill,so can you please suggest what should be my action now.

Hi -

Just wanted to clarify, have you taken a course to prepare for the GMAT or studied independently? If you have not taken a class, you might want to consider enrolling in a MGMAT course to improve your verbal skills.

Regards,
Erin
