I took the gmat today and scored a 560. More than disappointed, I was surprised because:
a. I spent a good portion of two months attending mgmat classes, doing homework, studying for the test and in the end put in a lot of hours.
b. My test scores on the manhattan gmat CATs were 590, 610, 660 and 700. Also, my scores on the GMATPrep exams were 650 and 690.
c. During the test, I never got flustered, felt I was getting many of the questions right, and did well on time management.
I am most definitely going to retake the gmat early next year. The good news is that I know where to start studying. I have the notes, the books and the tools. I just need to create a better strategy that will get me a bigger score.
