Dear MGMAT Instructor,
If I understood the MGMAT SC guide correctly, the use of 'this' is limited to it being followed by a noun, i.e., it can't be used by itself. I am writing to ask if there are any exceptions to this rule. In everyday correspondence we see a lot of "this is for your information" or "don't do it like this", and so I was wondering if these usages are wrong or are exceptions as far as the GMAT is concerned. Kindly advise.
Thanks and Regards.
