Usage of "due to"

by junl961 Sat Sep 24, 2016 11:15 am

Hi Ron,

I have read some posts about due to previously. But I cannot find it now.

I remember the reason and result between due to should all be phrase or noun, this I am somehow sure

but i also remember that due to can only go with indirect reasons, am I correct? My memory is a bit fuzzy

If yes, can you share an example? Thanks

Thanks Ron, replacing it with caused by is a good idea.

But I am still not quite sure though, does "due to" only be used for indirect reasons? Or that's an incorrect memory, I always feel I have seen it somewhere
