OG says because of worng in #120.
But it has one example in grammatical construction which says
We could not come to meeting because of conflict.
What is correct and what is worng ?

I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with the phrase "because of." #120 is a clarity/concision issue. "Because of" is unhelpful there because it adds more words than we need.
