Urgent: One month to test date, how do i practice?

by sojiz02 Sun Nov 04, 2012 6:53 am

Hi im just done reading my 8 books and have one month to exam date. How do i prepare for the test from here on? I want to focus on practicing but not sure if to use the official guide or cat tests or how to even proceed. There's work during the week so need to be optimal with my time. Im scared ive forgotten all i read previously but no time now to start re-reading.

Please advise asap. Thank you!

Have you taken a practice test yet? If not, take one *immediately* and make sure to take it under 100% official conditions. The results will tell you what you need to do going forward.

Read this (note: it's a 2-part article; read both halves):
http://www.manhattangmat.com/blog/index ... an-part-1/

If you haven't taken any tests yet, just FYI that 1 month may not be enough time. It depends how far you are from your goal score - but if you haven't really done questions or tests yet, then you've approached this in a non-ideal way and may need more time to get yourself up to speed. I just want to warn you.

After you take your (MGMAT) practice CAT, use the below to analyze it:
http://www.manhattangmat.com/blog/index ... ice-tests/

Then come back here and tell us the results of your analysis and what you think you should do based on that analysis. (Note: do share an analysis with us, not just the raw data. Part of getting better is developing your ability to analyze your results - figure out what they mean and what you think you should do about them!)
