Typo FDP, Chapter 5, Problem #5?

by AdrianneE831 Thu Feb 12, 2015 5:32 pm

The question states "Company X has exactly two product lines and no other sources of revenue. If the consumer products line experiences a k% increase in revenue in 2015 from 2014 levels and the machine parts line experiences a k% decrease in revenue in 2015 from 2004 levels, did Company 's overall revenue increase or decrease in 2010?"

This is a DS question and statements are "(1) in 2014, the consumer products line generated more revenue than the machine parts line." "(2) k=8"

I'm wondering if "2004" should be "2014" and "2010" should be "2015"?? Otherwise the explanation doesn't make sense????

There is indeed a typo, which you can confirm at https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/erra ... fdp-6e.cfm
