by AsadA969 Fri Sep 16, 2016 4:57 pm

Hi Ron,
I need have a solution about a statement: "Two modifier can't modify the same noun."
Is it the right thing?
Can you explain it more, please?
Thanks...
The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.

there are plenty of instances in which the same noun is modified by two (or even more) modifiers.

Over 200 years old, the buildings in Washington used for government meetings have been damaged by many historic natural disasters.
^^ here "the buildings" is modified by 3 different modifiers, and this is a perfectly good sentence.

in any case, you need to ask these questions about SPECIFIC GMAT-RELATED ITEMS. thank you.
