A couple question about whether I need to address these in my optional essay.

1.) In college, I had AP credits and also was on a varsity sport with mainly a spring season (although year round training) as such I took only 4 courses/ 12 credits for Junior Year fall (with a 16 hour internship 4 days a week), 12 credits spring semester to focus on extra training and spring senior year I took only 6 credits (needed only 3 to graduate) but did a volunteer position for 5 hours a week, my sport commitment 20 hours and a leadership position that was about 2-3 hours per week.

I am afraid that they will see only 2 courses on my transcript and might be bad but my activities clearly show the time committments I had during these times so not sure if it is worth addressing or not. Thanks.

2.) I am on an international rotation and have been here less than one year but spent 2 months in Germany, away from my current performance manager, so I went with my US based performance manager. Do I need to disclose that I went with my PM from the US who had me for 3 yrs versus one who has managed me for only about 6-8 months when recommendation time came.

Disclose both in the optional essay. You don't have anything to hide here. Just explain what happened, and keep it very short and sweet (1-3 sentences each max).
