Took a class and never took the GMAT!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,

I took the 9-week prep course from August until October and never took the actual test. I had some business related things that came up out of the blue and I was unable to take the test when I wanted (late October). Also, to be completely honest, I was feeling a bit burned out after the 9 weeks and I think that made me put if off even more.

Has anyone else run into this problem (feeling burned out with work, family, life, studying, etc) after the course? Is this any indication that I should hold off on pursuing my MBA? Is there any sort of discount for re-taking the courses now that things have settled down a little bit? Should I just freshen up on the course materials?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Adam, you may want to give a call to our Student Services department to discuss the specifics of your situation. Yes, we do offer a lower-cost retake of the course for former students. You could also simply buy extended access to our online materials, including class recordings.

Many students face work/family/life issues that prevent them from sticking to their original timeline. The main question for you might be: do you want to go to business school? If you do, then start to think about where/when, etc. But whenever I hear anyone ask: "should I even apply?" I always try to respond with: "well, do you want to?" Sometimes the whole process of preparing/applying can distract us from really understanding what our goals are.
