those would all work, although no one would write #1 or #3 without a good reason (e.g., a huge modifier after "grandparents").

or can it also be before "grandparents" ?


Moreover, since the discussion on comparisons is underway, allow me to ask another question:
As all of the America's airports are, New York's were built on large scale.
Is this sentence legitimate?
if not, is this an errors in it: we cannot drop the words in first part ?
