I chose D, because the word they here is not clear it refers to whom , but the right answer is C. May someone explains for me when we may say that the word that ( he, she , it, they .. etc ) be clear they refer to whom and when they are not clear and the meaning is vague.
* Secondly , " which " as I studied in Manhattan prep. that it must has an antecedent and refer to the word directly before the comma it preceded " which " . But I faced an information that I want to make sure of , That " which " refer to the subject of the sentence before the comma and its ok if it does not precede it directly ..
I am really confused , may someone explain this for me please ?
