the original problem was from "1000SC", which is a banned source.
1000SC is a banned source because it is horrible -- every problem i've ever seen from it (excepting the ones stolen from official sources) has had serious problems.
in the case of the problem you posted here (which i deleted), two of the answer choices are perfectly fine sentences, and the "rule" by which the "wrong" one is eliminated is ... well, not a rule at all. see og12 diagnostic test #50 for a counterexample to that "rule".
what you should do with 1000SC:
* put it down
* run far, far away
* stay far, far away
