Hi Neil,
Thanks for writing in. It looks like your GMAT is in the competitive range for these schools -- while you may feel that it's a few points below some of the great scores you'll see on message boards, it's a very well-balanced score, which the schools will likely notice.
Your extracurricular work seems relevant (I would focus on the post-college activities) and your work experience makes for a traditional business school profile. The one thing you didn't mention is the "why" -- is the MBA your plan to continue on with Corporate Finance, switch industries, etc? This will be critical for your application, as the the rest of your stats seem credible, but are unlikely to "wow" admissions at these top schools without a solid story behind them.
Overall I would rate you competitive for this top tier, although I would look to add 1-2 top-15 choices in the mix if you are determined to go to business school next year. Please note this advice assumes you are applying for class of 2014 at this point, if you are applying to class of 2013 your chances will likely be reduced.
