Subgroup Modifiers

by dellaboemia Sun Feb 05, 2012 1:29 pm

Chapter 12, MGMAT 8 lists the following as an incorrect construction under Subgroup Modifiers. Will someone please explain why this is incorrect?

The model explains all known subatomic particles, SOME OF WHICH ONLY recently discovered.

when you say "some of which", that means "some [whatever you're referring to]". let's plug that in:

"some subatomic particles recently discovered."

recently discovered what? :) you need a "were" before "recently"..
