Statistics: Evenly spaced sets

This is not exactly a problem, but just wanted to confirm a corollary
based on the Statistics chapter in Word translations. Is it always
true that:

The mean and the median of an evenly spaced ordered set are the
same?

Yes. You have two scenarios: a set with an odd number of terms and a set with an even number of terms.

Odd # of terms:
The middle term is the median. eg 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
The middle term is also the mean. eg same as above
Median = mean = 5 in the above case

Even # of terms:
The average of the two middle terms is the median. eg 1, 3, 5, 7
The average of the two middle terms is the average. eg same as above
Median = mean = 4 in the above case
