Startig gmat preparation

by mail.sandipan.nath23 Sat Dec 07, 2013 1:51 am

I just got promoted I the 6th semester of my B.Tech program.
I want to join any of the top International B Schools after 2-3 years of work experience. But I want to give the GMAT during my B.Tech. When should I give it after my 6th semester or later?

GMAT scores are valid for 5 years from the date of your test, so you just need to make sure that you take it within 5 years of whenever you plan to apply for business school.

Other than that, think about when you will have the most free time / energy to devote to your GMAT studies. It will be like taking a university-level course - that much work for about 8 to 16 weeks (depending upon your goal score and your starting point).
