hi -- please post a more specific question; you can't just post a problem and say "explain this entire problem".

here's a post on another forum in which i discuss this question:

if you have specific questions that remain after you read that post, then go ahead and post those questions here.

Hi Ron,

I followed this question in various forum as well.

I found that the answer for this question is option(A).

However, I believe that answer should be (E).

Because, we say 'in accordance with' for context which requires 'A does something obeying certain laws or principle'.

Then I believe 'by' is necessary because investing was done by following are three criteria 'by adherence to labor standards, protection of the environment, and observance of human rights'.

Please let me know if my reasoning is correct.

If not. Please let me know the answer for this question and explain me why (E) is wrong.

Well... no.

Officially correct answers are correct!
Do not question officially correct answers!

Far too many students on this forum make the mistake of questioning the correct answers. To do so is to waste your time and effort.

"Is this correct?" is never a productive question to ask about one of GMAC's correct answers. The answer is always yes.

"Is this wrong?" / "is this X type of error?" is never a productive question to ask about one of GMAC's correct answers. The answer is always no.

The questions you should be asking about correct official answers, if you don't understand them, are:
"Why is this correct?"
"How does this work?"
"What understanding am I lacking that I need to understand this choice?"

You will find it much easier to understand the format, style, and conventions of the official problems if you retire the idea that they might be wrong.
