* there are now two different problems in this thread, because someone hijacked the earlier discussion with the "carbon emissions" problem. it is thus impossible for me to tell which problem you're asking about.
(this is why the forum rule is one problem per thread.)

* in my post above, i requested a citation for this problem, and no one has given one.
