Hi Amit,

Thanks for writing in. From a high-level it seems that you have a broad range of aspects to highlight in your applications -- from your NGO work to your professional successes to your social entrepreneurship work.

The main area I would focus on is why are you pursuing a second MBA. Some U.S. programs will not consider applicants who already have an MBA, so you'll want to do the research on programs you are interested in. But every program will be curious as to why you seek this second degree -- what can these programs provide that your first program did not? Of course, you need to make that you don't speak poorly of your first program when making this case.

Hope this is helpful and best of luck!

Hi Daniel,
Thanks a lot for your reply. I have already started talking to schools. Given my background and goals , what schools do you advice me to look at (though I think its not that straight forward equation but i am asking for some pointers from you)?

Thanks again for your reply.

Thanks and Regds,
Amit

Hi Amit,

I think the top-15 to top-20 range is a good place for you to look. Perhaps Tepper, Kelley, or UNC. Again you'll want to make sure that schools you target will accept applicants who already earned an MBA overseas.

Good luck!
