Scoring on "Official" GMAC test and CAT test

I took both a CAT practice test and the "official" GMAC practice test (the one that's available on mba.com). I scored 690 in both tests. However, at the CAT test approximately half of my answer choices both in math and verbal were wrong. When I took the GMAC test, however, I only had 11 wrong math problems and only 7 wrong verbal problems.

Can you help me explain the difference?
