Scored a disaster V28

by engineerfake Wed Jul 17, 2013 7:10 am

Hi all,

I always knew that I was weak in Verbal. So I took my own time in preparing the Verbal part. Quant I easily scored from 49-50.

After months of prep I was scoring around 34-36 in MGMAT verbal. I wrote my GMAT today. I dont know what went wrong that I ended up with a figure of 28.

Could anyone drop in their suggestions as to how to take it to a 45+ score ?

My target is 770+ and I have 40 days window to appear for my retake. I would really appreciate your suggestions.

hi, welcome to the forum, but please take the time to learn how things work around here before you start posting.

* this is the wrong folder for your question; this kind of thing belongs in the "General Verbal Questions" folder. please post a new thread in that folder; thanks.

* 770+ is an absurdly high target score; there's no reason why any applicant should set a goal score that high. you should think carefully about this before you drive yourself crazy with unrealistic goals.
