score very low in quant

by japjeet.s Thu Jan 30, 2014 12:06 am

Hello

I just gave the gmat exam exam and was shocked to see the quant .

I scored 44 in quant :( While in the gmat prep 1 it was 49 and in the prep 2 it was 48 . I took GMAT last year and scored 48 in quant .
The overall score in 620 and in verbal it is 31 .

Can I touch the 700 mark ? should I give the gmat again ?

I answered your other post a few minutes ago (the one you posted before you took the test). Let's continue the conversation there so that we have just one place for everything.

When you respond to the other post, tell me whether you feel you were burning yourself out as you were heading up to test day. You mentioned that your verbal score was dropping in practice, and now your quant also dropped, so I'm worried that you were burning yourself out and your brain just wasn't mentally able to handle the stress of test day.

Timing problems (too slow OR too fast) are also a common cause of score drops, so let me know if anything like that might have been happening.
